The Rock Accord Anthology 2023

In 2023 The Rock Retreat and Accord Literary held a writing project for young people based in Bermuda, Gibraltar and Ghana. We were joined by renowned authors including Benjamin Zephaniah who gave our participants insights to their creative process. The workshops were shared through the communities of young storytellers through a collection of writing prompts. What resulted was beyond our expectations.

We had hundreds of submissions showcasing the originality and inventiveness of young storytellers. We received stories, poems, graphic novel ideas, illustrations… we were delighted to be able to read this dazzling body of work.

In this 2023 volume we bring the work together in one publication. It is an abundance of riches that affirms for all of us that young people are spreading joy and positivity through sharing their stories.
